Qualifications

Prior to forming JCB Financial, Joseph Bucara gained valuable experience working for other reputable financial firms.  He began working in the financial services in 1997.  Since that time, he has passed the FINRA Series 6, 63, 65, 66, and 7 exams which have demonstrated his command of the necessary subject matter and skills needed to provide sound and ethical financial advice.

In 1998, he was promoted to serve as the primary contact to a full-service client whose retirement plan account was worth over $2 billion.  This tremendous experience added to an already extensive knowledge of retirement plan fundamentals.

Since retirement is just one of the key areas of comprehensive financial planning (the others being cash flow, tax planning, investment planning, asset management, protection planning, and estate planning) and no one area of financial planning can exist independently, Joseph did  not want to remain exclusively focused on retirement.   As such, he became a comprehensive financial planner (and licensed life, accident, and health insurance agent) in 2002.  This enabled Joseph to offer comprehensive advice to his clients so that they could ensure a balanced approach to their financial well-being.

Joseph has met the stringent requirements of the Certified Financial PlannerBoard of Standards and is a CFP® practitioner.  He has also obtained considerable technological and educational resources in his arsenal to ensure he has the most up-to-date information and planning tools at his disposal.  Doing so will ensure that Joseph's qualifications continue to be of the highest standard.
